What is the Kunstmeile Hamburg?
The Kunstmeile Hamburg is made up of five renowned art institutions in the center of Hamburg. The Bucerius Kunst Forum, the Deichtorhallen Hamburg with its exhibition halls for contemporary art and photography, the Hamburger Kunsthalle, the Kunstverein in Hamburg and the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg are all within walking distance of each other along the art mile. Their excellent location is an invitation to visitors to take a stroll of discovery. Together they exhibit an up-to-date, vibrant selection of contemporary and historical art in all media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, applied arts and design.

The Kunstmeile Hamburg includes five renowned art institutions in the center of Hamburg: The Bucerius Kunst Forum, the Deichtorhallen Hamburg with its exhibition halls for contemporary art and photography, the Hamburger Kunsthalle, the Kunstverein Hamburg and the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg.


Where can I buy the Kunstmeile Passes?
The Kunstmeile Passes are available at the ticket counters of any of the Kunstmeile institutions.

How much does the Kunstmeile Pass cost?

12-Month-Pass 36 €
– reduced rate 22 €*
– with Hamburg Card 28.50 €
– under 18 free admission

3-Day-Pass 25 Euro
– reduced rate 19 €
– with Hamburg Card 20 €
– under 18 free admission

* the reduced rate is available for students and apprentices till the age of 27 as well as handicapped and unemployed persons and welfare recipients. Free admission for children and youth under 18. 


How long is the Kunstmeile Pass valid?
The Kunstmeile Hamburg features outstanding exhibitions in the visual arts, photography, applied arts and design. The 12-Month-Pass is valid for 12 months from the first visit of one of the institutions and allows you to visit each of the five institutions once, including special exhibitions. The 3-Day-Pass allows free admission to all five museums for three consecutive days.



What are the Kunstmeile institutions open?

Bucerius Kunst Forum:
Daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursdays to 9 p.m.

Deichtorhallen Hamburg:
Tuesday to Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
On the 1st Thursday of each month to 9 p.m.

Hamburger Kunsthalle:
Tuesday to Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursdays 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., before all holidays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
